1. You gotta love when kids mix up their words. The other day Luke was shaking his hips side to side and he says, "This is called shaking your wienie." Just as I was about to give a big, "What?!", he corrects himself and says, "Oh, I mean shake your booty." Honest mistake, right?
2. Here are a few pictures that capture a few of Elise's tendencies. First one - she loves hair. Especially mine and hers. She often lays on the ground like so:
3. It was Luke's turn to be the "special leader" at school - needless to say he was quite excited. So, off to the store we went to pick out the snack for his basket. He tolerated me stopping by another store first, and as we got in the car, he tells me not to forget to go to Day's.
This is the greatest source of comfort to her. If she is within arms reach of my hair, she inevitably has a handful of it while sucking on her lower lip:
And, her "Oh" face. She uses it often (side note: she is suffering from post pig tale hair in this picture. Super funny looking):

"Don't worry, I plan on it."
"You're brain keeped it?'
"Yes."
"Good. My brain keeped it too."
Pictures:
I was so excited when Asa showed me this picture. I was shocked that he drew a 'G'. "Did you draw a 'G'?!". Nope. It's a snake. But, he was so proud of it, that he wanted a picture.
So sweet.
These next two picture are.... ummm.... precious. I know you shouldn't make fun of your kids. But, sometimes they leave me no choice. I figure by the time he ever reads this, he'll be old enough to laugh at himself as well... I hope. And, although I am slightly embarrassed to post these pictures, they are too good not to.
Those are great pictures at the end, or as you say, "special". I'm sure he will find the humor - we all have to at some point :) Elise is adorable and the hair thing is amusing. I will make sure that each time I shake my booty I will now pronounce proudly that I am shaking my weenie. Because, truthfully, it's much better than normal. Your kids are too much.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to say how hard I laughed at the last two pictures. I didn't know you were doing glamour shots on the side. I love luke, he cracks me up.
